What you will do

• Serve as a technical advisor and PM for energy and decarbonization projects for municipal, K-12, and public-sector clients.
• Lead delivery of complex technical systems including HVAC, building controls, solar PV, BESS, and EV charging infrastructure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and consulting teams through all phases from feasibility to commissioning.
• Support technical evaluations, energy audits, financial analyses, and capital project planning.
• Develop project management plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Contribute to proposal development, scope creation, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or Energy Systems.
• 5-10 years of experience delivering energy, facilities, infrastructure, or decarbonization projects.
• Proven experience with HVAC, Solar PV, BESS, EV charging, or building electrification.
• Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, budget, risk).
• Excellent client-facing communication skills for engaging with executives and facility staff.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Los Angeles, CA.

Nice to have

• California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED AP, or PMP certifications.
• Experience with California Community Colleges, K-12 districts, or municipalities.
• Familiarity with California utility programs and public-sector procurement.
