Salary: $90,000 – $153,300

What you will do

• Direct all phases of data center projects from initial planning through final warranty and transition to service.
• Lead pre-commissioning, start-up, and integrated systems testing (IST) for critical cooling equipment.
• Plan and analyze HVAC/mechanical construction projects, establishing schedules and budgets for new mission-critical facilities.
• Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements and OSHA safety standards for energized equipment and confined spaces.
• Develop comprehensive proposals and deliver regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Manage professional relationships with customers and contractors to ensure timely sign-off and documentation turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• 2+ years of dedicated experience managing mission-critical data center construction and/or commissioning.
• Proficiency with construction scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, IFS, or Smartsheet.
• Strong working knowledge of mission-critical HVAC systems (chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations for active construction sites.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI, or Six Sigma certification.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Standards.
• Experience with building automation/BAS systems for cooling infrastructure.
• BMB certificate.
