Implementation Consultant (Asset Management)

TL;DR

Implementation Consultant (Asset Management): Orchestrating the deployment of proprietary asset management software for municipal and commercial fleets with an accent on business process analysis, system configuration, and user training. Focus on translating complex customer requirements into functional specifications and managing the end-to-end UAT cycle.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Virtual), with extensive travel (up to 75%) to customer sites in the US and Canada.

What you will do

• Perform detailed business process analysis and document requirement definitions.
• Consult with customers on system design and configuration to optimize workflows.
• Translate customer needs into technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle, including script creation and execution.
• Deliver high-quality training for end-users and "train-the-trainer" sessions.
• Support live operations transitions onsite at customer facilities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3-5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years as a principal software implementer.
• Experience with proprietary software solutions in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle and MSSQL relational database platforms.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the US and Canada.

Nice to have

• Degree in Business Management or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
• Experience with Business Objects Crystal Reports, SQL, and scripting.
