Business Analyst (PLM)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (PLM): Documenting technical processes and supporting the integration of Windchill PLM solutions for U.S. Department of Defense customers with an accent on technical writing, system compliance, and data migration. Focus on developing SOPs, system specifications, and user acceptance testing to ensure operational readiness in highly regulated environments.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote). US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance are required.

Salary: $100,312–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, and process documentation.
• Develop system specifications, business process workflows, and data migration plans.
• Assist in data analysis and validation to ensure integrity within PLM systems.
• Support the development of test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to track enhancements, issues, and resolutions.
• Prepare technical briefs and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or technical writing within engineering or software environments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Confluence, or SharePoint.
• Experience with enterprise application implementation (PLM, ERP, MRP, or CRM).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Aerospace and Defense industries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Knowledge of DoD software policies and artifacts (CDRL, SDD, SDP, etc.).
• Experience with PLM applications like Windchill, Teamcenter, or Arena.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
