Value Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Sulligent, AL (Onsite)

What you will do

• Estimate costs for new products and product localization projects.
• Leverage AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams during the industrialization phase.
• Analyze product cost variances resulting from design changes.
• Implement and support workflow automation solutions using tools like Power Automate.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities through AI-driven analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field required.
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or cost estimation.
• Knowledge of mechanical processes, specifically welding and machining.
• Interest or experience in AI tools, automation, and digital transformation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and engineering software like SAP, Teamcenter, or NX Siemens.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Nice to have

• Prior background in cost analysis or value engineering.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
