What you will do

• Perform initial screening consultations for member enrollment based on company guidelines.
• Make medication management decisions and write prescriptions using the Twin Platform.
• Monitor critical symptoms and consult on necessary follow-ups for the member population.
• Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and collaboration for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs).
• Contribute feedback for the development of in-house clinical tools and protocols.
• Respond to member inquiries and handle prior authorizations for ongoing medication use.

Requirements

• MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical practice experience.
• Active CA state license (multiple state licenses or ILMC Compact preferred).
• Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Availability for an on-call rotation (one week per quarter).

Nice to have

• Prior telemedicine experience.
• ILMC Compact license.
• Extensive experience treating diabetes patients in a clinical setting.
