Salary: $164,900 – $236,000 (depending on US region)

What you will do

• Define and validate metabolic-relevant features in partnership with hardware, algorithm, science, and regulatory teams.
• Translate endocrinology expertise and medical literature into real-world performance goals and clinical feature specifications.
• Design and oversee clinical validation studies (feasibility, observational, real-world) to demonstrate product performance.
• Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to drive submissions and ensure compliance in major markets.
• Represent the company externally to scientific audiences, payors, partners, and health systems.
• Guide internal teams on biometrics, ground truth data, clinical endpoints, and study design.

Requirements

• MD/DO/MBBS with deep expertise in general endocrinology, metabolic medicine, or a related specialty.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or similar with an active medical license.
• At least 5 years of experience practicing medicine in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in health product development or digital health within regulated environments (SaMD, wearables, diagnostics).
• Must be based in the US (excluding AK, DE, IA, MS, NE, SD, WV, WI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and executing pivotal clinical studies for regulated health products.
• Familiarity with ML development in a clinical context (glycemic patterns, insulin resistance markers).
• Knowledge of diagnostic and wearable signals and their physiologic origins.
• Experience partnering with regulatory bodies such as the FDA or EU MDR.
