What you will do

• Evaluate and provide feedback on the technical feasibility of planned toy concepts during initial stages.
• Develop new mechanisms to achieve functionality goals and create breadboard models.
• Create and manage engineering Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Act as a technical engineering liaison with development houses, tooling providers, and manufacturing plants.
• Translate design visions into detailed technical specifications for production.
• Drive Brand level value engineering and advanced product quality planning.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in the toys or consumer goods industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
• Working knowledge of FEA and the ability to interpret results.
• Understanding of plastic production processes, assembly techniques, and various raw materials (textiles, plastics).
• Awareness of toy industry safety regulations and norms, specifically ASTM and ISO.
