Design Engineer (Creo)

What you will do

• Design and revise 3-D models, solid assemblies, and engineering drawings for new and existing products using Creo Parametric.
• Research new product concepts and test prototypes.
• Support first-article inspections, corrections, and engineering change requests.
• Resolve product-related customer complaints and provide technical data to quality and sales teams.
• Support manufacturing with rework reduction and control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of recent experience with 3-D design, solid modeling, assemblies, and 2-D drawings using Creo Parametric.
• At least 1 year of experience with design calculations and tolerance stack-up studies.
• Experience with new product development and revision of existing products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Creo Parametric surface modeling.
• Experience with finite element analysis using Creo Simulate or Ansys.
• Experience with Windchill or other Product Lifecycle Management software.
• Experience with construction and mining equipment wear parts, steel casting, or machining.
