Associate Design Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design manufacturing tools, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and lifting devices.
• Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Perform structural and mechanical validation, including load capacity and FEA.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ASME, OSHA, ISO, and ANSI.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and EHS teams to improve workflow efficiency.
• Manage engineering change requests (ECRs) and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• English: Intermediate or advanced level required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Creo, NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA).
• Experience applying GD&T principles to tooling design.
