Compliance Manager (Fintech)

Focus on maintaining and developing compliance frameworks, regulatory change management, breach oversight, and senior governance reporting.

What you will do

• Provide 2LOD oversight, advice, and challenge on FCA, PRA, PSR, FSCS, and other regulatory obligations.
• Maintain and develop the regulatory compliance framework, obligations inventory, and regulatory change processes.
• Support regulatory reporting governance, breach management, and senior governance reporting.
• Review and challenge new product compliance and support perimeter and permissions assessments.
• Produce compliance management information for senior management and governance forums.
• Support SMCR governance, regulatory engagement, and compliance training initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have strong UK banking regulatory compliance experience in dual-regulated banks, SME lenders, or comparable financial services.
• Detailed knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations including SYSC, SUP, PRIN, BCOBS, FIT, PERG, SMCR, regulatory reporting, payments regulation, and FSCS.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into practical controls, evidence, and business guidance.
• Comfortable using MI, KRIs, breach data, and audit findings to drive remediation.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools for analytics with attention to data quality and governance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to challenge senior stakeholders while maintaining 2LOD oversight distinction.
