SCUK Compliance & Reporting Manager (Motor Finance)

Location: Redhill, United Kingdom; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.

What you will do

• Act as a subject matter expert for compliance, regulatory reporting, and horizon scanning.
• Lead SMCR compliance oversight, governance records, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage regulatory change by identifying, assessing, tracking, and implementing changes.
• Coordinate regular and ad hoc regulatory reports and produce management information for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Support regulatory requests, reviews, consultations, and investigations while maintaining compliance risk profiles and controls.
• Lead and develop team capability while building relationships with regulators, industry bodies, Risk, Legal, HR, and Compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, SMCR requirements, regulatory reporting, and compliance risk management.
• Experience with regulatory change management, horizon scanning, regulatory engagement, and governance reporting.
• Proven people management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and develop others.
• Compliance or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of the motor finance sector.
