Manager – CONC Compliance (Consumer Duty)

Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office in Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Edinburgh, or Halifax, United Kingdom

Salary: £67,023–£74,470 per year

What you will do

• Support risk and control owners with Conduct & Compliance Risk management and customer, business, and strategic outcomes.
• Analyse the Conduct & Compliance Risk and control environment against the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Prepare documentation, analyse data, and report exposure against risk appetite.
• Develop risk and performance indicators and data-led control objectives.
• Support control owners with implementing control measures and deliver risk and control oversight plans.
• Manage actions related to Conduct & Compliance Risk events and breaches following Risk & Control Self-Assessment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, including technical expertise in CONC and Consumer Duty.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks, relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and established best practice.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess control effectiveness using complex data and multiple information sources.
• Experience producing risk reporting, developing oversight plans, managing escalations, and communicating findings clearly.
• Experience developing group-level policy, setting risk appetite, and providing challenge and advice to the business.
