Head of Risk & Compliance (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Lead Risk, Compliance, and Governance strategy across the Platform Solutions business.
• Advise the CEO, Board, senior leadership, and business teams on regulatory, legal, governance, and risk matters.
• Oversee FCA reporting, regulatory relationships, compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and control frameworks.
• Identify control weaknesses and regulatory issues, escalate material risks, and coordinate remedial action plans.
• Support new products and business initiatives with commercially aware compliance advice.
• Lead and develop the Risk & Compliance team while promoting accountability and a strong risk culture.

Requirements

• Significant senior-level experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK financial services regulation, including FCA requirements and relevant legislation.
• Experience in a senior Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, or assurance and advisory role.
• Experience advising senior management and Boards within a complex organization.
• Knowledge of financial services, investment products, data protection, regulatory change, and Consumer Duty.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating a Risk & Compliance team.

Nice to have

• Experience in UK wealth management or the platforms sector.
• Experience working in a global regulated financial services organization or client-facing advisory capacity.
