Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Technical & Professional Staffing)

Location: Poway, California, United States; on-site Monday through Friday

What you will do

• Manage multiple high-volume candidate pipelines throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies using online platforms, Boolean search, recruitment databases, and outreach campaigns.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, create requisitions, and establish screening criteria.
• Pre-screen resumes, conduct structured interviews, and assess technical and behavioral competencies.
• Facilitate compensation discussions, negotiate offers, support closing, and coordinate required background checks.
• Analyze pipeline metrics and provide subject-matter guidance on recruiting tools, best practices, compliance, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• At least 3 years of progressive professional experience in corporate Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
• Experience sourcing and attracting technical candidates in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HR principles, recruitment theories, and staffing compliance standards.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and hiring-manager advisory skills.
• Willingness to work on-site Monday through Friday in a structured schedule environment.

Nice to have

• Corporate talent acquisition experience in high-tech, engineering, or defense contracting.
• Advanced proficiency with applicant tracking systems and candidate relationship management tools.
