Technical Recruiter (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, NYC office in Manhattan

Salary: $130K–$155K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, product, and design roles from intake through offer close.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and manage search expectations.
• Build outbound pipelines for competitive technical talent, including senior and staff engineering candidates.
• Run structured screens and interview loops while assessing technical background, experience scope, and motivation.
• Track pipeline KPIs, maintain ATS data quality, and provide sourcing and market insights.
• Contribute to recruiting initiatives involving tooling, employer branding, referrals, structured interviews, and process improvement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience, including meaningful technical recruiting experience at a venture-backed startup or agency serving technology clients.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage full-cycle technical searches across engineering and product roles.
• Strong sourcing experience and the ability to build outbound pipelines for competitive technical talent.
• Comfort with compensation discussions and closing senior individual contributors.
• Excellent written communication, strong organization, and disciplined ATS hygiene.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and escalate appropriately.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in fintech, wealthtech, or other complex technical domains.
• Familiarity with structured interview design, scorecards, or take-home assessments.
• Experience with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, or similar recruiting tools.
• Experience on a small recruiting team with significant ownership of technical hiring.
