What you will do

• Write and publish digital news stories using a Content Management System (CMS).
• Convert on-air scripts into readable digital articles with attention-grabbing headlines.
• Create and manage social media posts to drive audience engagement and gather UGC.
• Clip reporter videos for the website with SEO-friendly descriptions.
• Interview sources and conduct reporting in a fast-paced news environment.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing to work onsite in San Jose, CA.
• Available to work 20 hours per week from September 21 to December 18, 2026.
• Current class standing of Junior or above.

Nice to have

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with WordPress, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or Wildmoka.
• Academic background in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or Political Science.
• Previous experience with campus TV stations, newspapers, or websites.
