Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA, United States

Salary: $110,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Provide strategic HR guidance to employees, managers, and senior leaders across employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and core people matters.
• Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, team effectiveness, leadership development, and strategic people decisions across the U.S. and Canada.
• Coach leaders and handle employee relations issues while balancing employee experience, company values, business needs, and employment law.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, development plans, promotions, performance concerns, and talent decisions.
• Own and evolve compensation philosophy, career architecture, job levels, career paths, pay ranges, and promotion frameworks.
• Analyze workforce data and build practical HR processes that support organizational growth, retention, engagement, and talent development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 6+ years of progressive professional human resources experience.
• Knowledge of employment law and independent experience handling employee relations matters.
• Extensive experience with an HRIS; Sequoia is preferred.
• Experience supporting exempt and hourly workforces in an engineering, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, judgment, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
