What you will do

• Lead the Ecommerce team within the Consumer domain, overseeing overall health, productivity, and impact.
• Collaborate with Product Leads and stakeholders to shape and execute the overarching consumer strategy.
• Balance the delivery of new capabilities with technical maintenance to preserve platform health.
• Identify bottlenecks, improve working processes, and implement software delivery best practices.
• Champion the observability strategy by setting SLOs and implementing monitoring tooling for system reliability.
• Provide direct people management for a scrum team, including 1:1s, coaching, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of demonstrated impact in a leadership role with hands-on people management experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with object-oriented software design, primarily using Java.
• Proven experience designing and building complex distributed systems.
• Strong history of managing Agile teams and driving improvements across the development process.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar related field.
• Must be based in Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, or Wales

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native and Ruby.
