What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of engineers to foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Define and evolve engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive improvements in software quality, testing strategy, observability, and release confidence.
• Partner with engineering, platform, product, and security teams to deliver large-scale initiatives.
• Shape internal tooling and AI-assisted engineering workflows to improve productivity.
• Influence senior stakeholders to guide teams toward modern, scalable, and resilient practices.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading teams with an engineering-first mindset and influencing organizational impact.
• Experience building enterprise-level, highly scalable projects focused on performance and security.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, observability, testing, and system resilience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach.
• Experience leading teams and delivering cross-functional initiatives.
• Must be based in or able to work from London in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience shaping developer experience platforms or internal tooling.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments, specifically Azure.
• Experience working in regulated or complex environments.
