What you will do

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams of 4–5 engineers, ensuring reliable shipping and professional growth.
• Develop concrete growth plans for all team members and manage underperformance through structured processes.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools and workflows (e.g., Claude, Copilot) into development, review, and planning.
• Serve as the primary interface between Engineering, Product, and Design to resolve bottlenecks and make tradeoff calls.
• Maintain technical credibility by contributing to system design and identifying architectural risks.
• Manage distributed team dynamics using async communication and remote-first leadership practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil.
• Proven experience leading fully remote, distributed engineering teams in a leadership position.
• Deep integration with AI tools and a track record of implementing AI workflows to improve throughput.
• Strong experience in people management, including career pathing, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Ability to track and articulate team performance using data and metrics rather than observations.
• Technical proficiency sufficient to provide architectural input and conduct code reviews.
