What you will do

• Develop and improve HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, industry standards, and hirify.global Group governance.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and coordinate external compliance verification.
• Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Oversee machinery safety, risk assessments, and safe systems of work for manufacturing processes.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and manage environmental performance, including waste and hazardous substance compliance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Fareham, Hampshire, UK.
• Must be eligible for UK National Security Vetting and workforce screening.
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
• HSE related qualification (e.g., NEBOSH) and Environmental qualification (e.g., IEMA).
• Experience with internal auditing and working with external accreditation bodies.
