EHS Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: UK; remote. Occasional international travel may be required for site engagement, programme implementation, assurance activities and team workshops.

What you will do

• Support deployment of global Environment, Health and Safety strategy through planning, communications, guidance materials, training resources and programme coordination.
• Coordinate global EHS programmes, governance calendars, business reviews, executive reporting, action tracking and governance forums.
• Collect, validate and analyse EHS performance data across regions, divisions and sites, producing dashboards, reports and business insights.
• Administer and improve EHS platforms and reporting tools, including Ideagen, Power BI and SharePoint, while coaching system users.
• Coordinate compliance monitoring, assurance schedules, audits, inspections and critical control verification.
• Support incident analysis, corrective and preventive action management, organisational learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• NEBOSH National General Certificate, IEMA Foundation Certificate or an equivalent relevant EHS qualification.
• Practical EHS experience in a multi-site, regional, divisional or global organisation, ideally in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience coordinating governance cycles, management reporting, action tracking and cross-functional programmes.
• Strong data management, analytical and reporting capability, including advanced Excel and Power BI or comparable tools.
• Experience administering EHS systems and controlled document repositories.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, audit principles and corrective action management, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Experience working across multiple countries, cultures and time zones in a matrix organisation.
• Progress toward a higher-level EHS qualification or relevant professional membership.
• Experience with incident analysis, assurance programmes, culture improvement, environmental reporting or programme coordination.
