What you will do

• Conduct accurate and timely coverage, liability, and damage investigations for complex environmental and casualty claims.
• Make coverage determinations and draft formal written positions for insureds and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage reserves and proactively oversee litigation, including budgeting, bill review, and counsel coordination.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve early and cost-effective resolution of assigned claims.
• Represent the company at management meetings, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• BA/BS College Degree required (JD degree preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience in liability, clean-up claims, or legal positions.
• Strong aptitude for analyzing technical, legal, and medical documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
