Intern Engineering (Robotics): Supporting the design, verification, and testing of robotic end-of-arm technologies with an accent on mechanical hardware development and product validation. Focus on utilizing 3D CAD software, conducting mechanical tests, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product reliability.

Location: Must be based in Apex, NC (Onsite)

Salary: $37,430–$50,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and debug test hardware for mechanical verification.
• Develop and execute mechanical test plans for product verification.
• Document testing results and propose design improvements.
• Evaluate nonconformance on components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or green card holder due to ITAR compliance.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D drafting software.
• Experience with standard measurement equipment like calipers and load cells.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with collegiate Motorsports teams.
• Knowledge of GD&T drawing practices.
