What you will do

• Own assigned mechanical systems and major design efforts from problem definition through release and validation.
• Develop concepts and detailed designs using CAD, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Evaluate design alternatives across performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability.
• Lead technical coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Support machine integration and fleet investigations to drive durable design improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, design reviews, and mentorship to other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop complex mechanical systems from concept through release.
• Strong capability in 3D CAD, engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Hands-on experience developing prototypes and troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical work with limited oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience with laser powder bed fusion, additive manufacturing, or industrial automation.
• Experience designing precision mechanisms, fluid systems, or structural assemblies.
• Familiarity with engineering change control and configuration management.
