What you will do

• Prepare daily P&L accounts for trading desks and reconcile front office systems with the general ledger.
• Produce and review P&L attribution and commentary for trading, investing, and new issuance businesses.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS for senior management and external auditors.
• Act as a subject matter expert for secured funding tax and reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement solutions for regulatory developments, such as NSFR.
• Drive projects for the automation of end-to-end reporting processes.

Requirements

• Recently qualified accountant (ACA, CFA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing audited financial statements under US GAAP or IFRS.
• Proven track record of improving processes and adding value to stakeholders.
• Location: Must be able to work on-site in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FAS 133, AFS, and HTM accounting.
• Knowledge of Hedge accounting.
