What you will do

• Manage a heavy requisition workload for diverse commodities and services.
• Source new vendors and conduct market research to meet program and small business requirements.
• Negotiate purchase orders, terms, and conditions in coordination with legal and business teams.
• Ensure full compliance with U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) regulations and internal procurement policies.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR).
• Assist in strategic department initiatives, including team training and internal presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in acquisition, preferably in government settings.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
• Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of feasibility, design, and construction contracting experience.
• Experience with the full construction project life cycle.
