Business Analyst (Starlink Growth Demand Planning)

Location: Hawthorne, California, United States; onsite. Extended hours, weekend availability, and travel to customer sites, other SpaceX locations, and events may be required.

Salary: $80,000–$115,000 for Level 1 or $95,000–$145,000 for Level 2 per year, plus potential stock or long-term cash awards and discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Serve as the Finance liaison for consumer growth, owning weekly and quarterly demand forecasts, long-term planning, budgeting, reporting, and business cases.
• Drive product roadmaps and launch planning with Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Global Operations, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams.
• Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to support faster, better-informed decisions.
• Analyze the financial impact of growth experiments and forecast opportunities to prioritize business and engineering initiatives.
• Evaluate consumer insights and analytics to identify effective demand-generation approaches.
• Lead strategic growth programs, including campaigns and new channels, to maximize customer acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
• At least 1 year of experience using Excel for financial modeling.
• Strong business judgment, communication, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience analyzing data, identifying insights, and developing creative solutions.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
• Experience in early- and growth-stage startups with lean teams.
• Financial analysis experience and knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
• Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
• Industry experience in telecom, technology, consumer products, automotive, or maritime.
