What you will do

• Design, assemble, test, and integrate sensors, compute modules, and actuation systems.
• Collaborate with software teams to translate perception, planning, and control requirements into hardware specifications.
• Design hardware to meet strict automotive standards and environmental challenges.
• Manage supplier relationships and external partners for production module builds.
• Support the full hardware development lifecycle from prototype to production.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Solidworks and PLM tools for document revision control.
• Experience with technical drawing tolerancing and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, injection molding, stamping, and die casting.
• Ability to test and qualify mechanical designs for on-road vehicle use.

Nice to have

• Experience in the autonomous vehicle or automotive industry.
• Proficiency in surfacing.
