What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end revenue accounting lifecycle and close processes for DTC memberships, imaging, and mobile diagnostic services.
• Build and refine scalable close frameworks, transitioning manual effort into system-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to identify root causes of data quality issues and drive automation, including the Rillet rollout.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of Senior Accountants, transitioning work from contractors and outsourced resources.
• Lead revenue reporting, including deferred revenue schedules and flux analyses for leadership and audit.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audit (KPMG) regarding revenue methodology and support.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting with significant ownership of multi-stream month-end close.
• Proven track record of partnering with engineering and product teams to fix data quality issues at the root cause.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Deep familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription and service-based models.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex accounting issues to non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Experience with payment platform revenue data or subscription-based health-tech businesses.
• Experience scoping ERP/rev rec system integrations (e.g., Rillet, NetSuite, Zuora).
• Proficiency with SQL or other data querying tools for transaction-level investigation.
• Hands-on use of AI or automation tools (Claude, ChatGPT) in accounting workflows.
