Salary: $128,000 – $178,000 USD

What you will do

• Own technical revenue accounting under ASC 606, serving as the SME for complex revenue recognition and non-standard deal structures.
• Lead the month-end and quarter-end revenue accounting close, ensuring accurate reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and RevOps to provide strategic guidance on deal structures and product launches.
• Design and ship AI-enabled tools and agents to automate manual tasks across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• Draft technical accounting memos and maintain SOX-ready documentation to ensure audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 and industry experience.
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Demonstrated AI fluency with experience building tools or agents (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Gemini) and hands-on SQL/BI experience.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical accounting conclusions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA or Denver, CO.
