What you will do

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the Unit Award Scheme to drive sustainable growth.
• Lead commercial performance, including budget management, revenue targets, and pricing strategy.
• Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with diverse customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Influence product development and digital enhancements to improve customer experience.
• Represent the scheme externally as a figurehead and ambassador at conferences and sector networks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Manchester.
• Proven experience leading a business unit, product, or service function with commercial accountability.
• Strong track record of delivering growth, managing budgets, and driving sustainable performance.
• Ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams across matrix organizational boundaries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders and diverse audiences.
• Experience using data and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.

• Knowledge of the UK education or assessment sector.
• Experience working with schools, colleges, alternative provision, or charities.
