TL;DR

VP, Human Resources (SaaS): Building and leading the entire people function for a high-growth HR technology platform with an accent on HR strategy, operational discipline, and scalability. Focus on designing people programs from the ground up, optimizing key people metrics, and partnering with executive leadership to align people strategy with business growth.

Location: Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office per week)

Salary: $225,000 - $250,000 USD per year + bonus

What you will do

• Own the full HR function end-to-end, including HR Business Partners, Payroll, Culture, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition.
• Develop HR strategy and playbooks from scratch to translate company goals into concrete people programs.
• Partner with executive leadership as a hands-on advisor to identify organizational needs and deliver strategic solutions.
• Drive automation and process improvement within HR systems, such as Rippling, to scale the organization efficiently.
• Manage and optimize key people metrics, specifically focusing on employee engagement, time-to-hire, and attrition.
• Ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive, equitable, and well-administered.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience leading HR at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Proven ability to build HR strategy, programs, and playbooks from the ground up.
• Broad functional expertise across all HR domains including Payroll, TA, and Comp & Ben.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be based in or relocate to the Denver, CO area.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or MBA in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms.
• Experience operating in a multi-state, compliance-heavy environment.
• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification.
