HR Business Partner (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Santa Ana, California, United States

Salary: $64,462–$107,437 per year, plus potential annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium where applicable.

What you will do

• Partner with operations supervisors to provide coaching, guidance, and consultation across the employee lifecycle.
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters, conduct investigations, and support fair and consistent decisions.
• Develop engagement, recognition, retention, career development, and leadership capability programs for direct-labor employees.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, requisitions, offers, and onboarding through Workday and the Talent Acquisition function.
• Lead new-hire orientation and reinforce effective use of timekeeping, payroll, HR self-service, and shared-services processes.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting a broad range of HR disciplines, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in employee relations and investigations, with confidentiality, professionalism, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting direct labor, working in a matrixed environment, and partnering with HR Centers of Excellence is preferred.
• Knowledge of US and Wisconsin employment laws and their implications for HR management.
• Must work onsite in Santa Ana, California; ITAR-controlled product and technical-data access is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

Nice to have

• HRCI or SHRM professional certification.
• Experience supporting or leading recruitment and Talent Acquisition initiatives.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
