AI Platform Engineer (Banking)

Location: Remote within Germany, Austria, Serbia, or Romania

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud platforms and infrastructure for enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications and deployment environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design multi-tenant architectures with strong isolation, governance, security, and identity controls.
• Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, release processes, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers and Software Developers to move AI solutions from prototypes into secure, scalable, and reliable production environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, with an interest in financial services.
• 2–3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Experience operating production-grade cloud-native applications and hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Familiarity with Python and modern software development practices; a strong troubleshooting and operational mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, or Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of AI platforms, LLM applications, agent frameworks, or RAG systems.
