AI Platform Engineer (AI)

Compensation: $110,400 – $220,800 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Design and build the technical layer of the internal AI platform, from integration surfaces to production runbooks.
• Own the governed integration gateway, managing authentication flows, OAuth, and federated identity.
• Develop internal tooling including agent scaffolding, prompt assets, and provisioning automation.
• Configure and operate tiered spend controls and alerting rules across the AI estate.
• Implement technical controls for data handling, retention, and model eligibility.
• Provide technical enablement through deep dives, office hours, and documentation.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS administration at 1,000+ seats, ideally including AI or LLM platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable language with experience in version control, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management (Okta, OAuth, SCIM, SSO).
• Operational discipline with experience in managing intake queues, SLAs, and runbooks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience standing up internal developer or AI platforms.
• Exposure to FinOps or software asset management.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM).
• Experience with regulated industry audit and evidence work in financial services.
