What you will do

• Design and develop AWS-enabled solutions using Python as the primary language.
• Ensure application observability using standard AWS tools and services.
• Implement automated test suites to ensure high test coverage.
• Collaborate with the global development team on shared architecture and best practices.
• Provide guidance on the technological direction for core business applications.
• Engage in early-stage architecture design and proof-of-concept activities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland.
• Extensive experience in Python development.
• Detailed knowledge of AWS services, serverless architecture, secure APIs, and parallel computing.
• Hands-on experience with automated deployment of AWS infrastructure.
• Strong Linux and scripting background.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry.
