Senior Python Developer

hirify.global is an interactive entertainment company creating mobile games, including the Candy Crush franchise, and is part of Microsoft.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build scalable applications, distributed processing pipelines, asynchronous workloads, and data-intensive forecasting and analytics workflows.
• Design and optimize relational OLTP databases, data models, and query performance.
• Develop internal web applications, interfaces, and workflows for technical and non-technical users.
• Integrate services and connectors with hirify.global and Microsoft identity, collaboration, communication, and productivity platforms.
• Deploy and operate containerized cloud-native applications while improving reliability, observability, performance, testing, and CI/CD automation.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Python and backend services or APIs.
• Understanding of modern web application development and ability to contribute across the stack when needed.
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing relational databases, processing large datasets, and building background or distributed workloads.
• Experience deploying applications in containerized and cloud-native environments, with familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Strong testing, debugging, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with forecasting, optimization, simulation, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, Teams, SharePoint, or related enterprise platforms.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, business applications, workflow automation, or large-scale data processing systems.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Sentry, or other observability and monitoring tools.
