Senior Engineering Manager (API Hub)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of the developer platform, including API gateways, metering pipelines, and billing engine integration.
• Lead and grow a team of approximately eight engineers across portal, infrastructure, QA, and security.
• Manage sprint planning, delivery cadences, and release management to maintain a reliable delivery pipeline.
• Contribute directly to the codebase and make key technical decisions in partnership with the Senior Principal Engineer.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate product specifications into delivered software.
• Coordinate L2 developer support and manage the handoff of L3 issues to product teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Proven track record of building monetized developer platforms, commercial SaaS products, or API ecosystems from the ground up.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, API gateways, OAuth, and event-driven architectures.
• Strict delivery discipline in sprint planning and release management against aggressive deadlines.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dublin or Philadelphia.
