Program Manager, Secure Space Data Systems (Aerospace): Leading the development and productization of secure data-handling capabilities for satellite platforms with an accent on cryptographic hardware, embedded firmware, and government mission capture. Location: Hybrid (San Jose, CA) — U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Salary: $175,000 - $208,000

What you will do
- Own the integrated master schedule, cost baseline, and risk register for the secure data systems program.
- Lead the program through design reviews, hardware integration, and test campaigns to meet customer commitments.
- Contribute directly to technical engineering, including architecture, trade studies, and requirements development.
- Manage security and compliance posture, ensuring adherence to ITAR/EAR export controls and government certifications.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Product teams to transition capabilities into funded flight programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in program management for complex technical systems (hardware and software).
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in electrical, embedded systems, mechanical, or RF/communications.
- Direct experience with space, defense, or aerospace programs handling CUI or classified data.
- Proven track record of leading board- or box-level hardware development from design to a tested product.
- Understanding of secure communications (Type 1 encryption, Red/Black separation, key management).
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Top Secret clearance are mandatory.
Nice to have
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience integrating NSA Type 1 cryptographic units or managing COMSEC/CCI.
- Direct experience working with SDA, NRO, or USSF Space Systems Command.
- Familiarity with FPGA development lifecycles and board bring-up.
- PMP certification or equivalent credentials.
