Program Management Director (Aerospace & Defense)

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the program management function across three Power and Data Division businesses.
• Develop and implement divisional program management strategies, processes, tools, and best practices.
• Establish program baselines supporting cost, schedule, performance, and proposal margin commitments.
• Directly lead program management personnel and build senior program management leadership capabilities.
• Create performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor program effectiveness.
• Review underperforming programs, develop mitigation plans, and oversee recovery execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of program management experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
• Experience developing functional strategies, establishing best practices, and implementing large-scale processes.
• Experience leading in a matrixed organization with strong collaboration and influence skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent, with competency in recognized standards for government and commercial contract management.
• Demonstrated success managing customers at the executive level and experience in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
