Staff Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$227,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a strategic military aircraft development program for a key customer.
• Execute the program through design, development, qualification, and initial production.
• Manage program scope, budgets, schedules, cost performance, and task completion.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and coordinate activities across functional teams.
• Resolve issues with customers, management, and internal teams, including development of recovery plans.
• Support proposal teams and business capture campaigns to expand the business portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in engineering or program management.
• At least six years of program management experience, including work on aerospace or defense development programs.
• Experience developing and communicating program budgets, plans, and schedules.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements, scope adherence, and Earned Value Management principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information is required. Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is preferred.
