What you will do

• Own the end-to-end video engine and YouTube channel operations, including thumbnails, titles, and metadata.
• Produce long-form tutorials, feature deep-dives, and product narratives targeting developer and enterprise audiences.
• Convert long-form content into short-form cuts for X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and paid media.
• Source, contract, and manage a freelance bench of editors, motion designers, and on-camera talent.
• Write scripts and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Report weekly on output and conversion-relevant metrics.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco (fully in-person).
• 4+ years of video production experience for tech or SaaS brands.
• Proven track record of growing a YouTube channel with measurable results.
• Experience hiring and managing freelance editors and motion designers independently.
• Ability to script, shoot, and cut content hands-on.
• Technical fluency sufficient to create credible developer-facing content (e.g., understanding APIs).
