What you will do

• Evaluate data submitted by businesses interested in PEO health benefits.
• Set risk-based pricing and identify inconsistencies in client data.
• Enter information accurately into underwriting tools.
• Communicate directly with clients and insurance carrier partners.
• Manage time-sensitive requests with a 1-3 hour turnaround requirement.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
• Strong business communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work as a self-starter.
• Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in individual, small, or large group medical underwriting.
• Experience within the PEO or Association industry.
• Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act.
• Health insurance agency or brokerage experience.
