What you will do

  • Serve as the internal compliance subject matter expert for product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments for new product features, platform developments, and AI-powered tools.
  • Review marketing materials and customer-facing content to ensure regulatory accuracy and UDAAP compliance.
  • Advise operational teams on the intersection of benefits regulations and transaction processing.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and produce actionable impact assessments for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the resolution of customer escalations and employer inquiries involving regulatory considerations.

Requirements

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or benefits administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of benefits regulatory requirements for tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA, HRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret IRS guidance, DOL advisory opinions, and translate them into product requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for fielding live compliance questions.
  • Comfortable operating as an embedded compliance partner in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with benefit account transaction processing (ACH, card networks).
  • Experience with HIPAA, GLBA, or consumer data privacy requirements.
  • Proximity to Wyoming regulatory contacts or residency in the Mountain Time Zone.
