What you will do

• Prepare and file income, VAT, sales, use, and property tax returns accurately and on time.
• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Gather and analyze documentation for tax audits and work directly with auditors.
• Research and resolve tax notices while maintaining the global tax compliance calendar.
• Contribute to the development of internal control documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with local teams and advisors to support initiatives that reduce direct and indirect taxes.

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in accounting, tax, finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Proficiency with a modern data stack, including AI tools, tax/accounting software, and Excel for managing large data sets.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply tax regulations across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
