What you will do

• Process New Part Requests (NPRs) using the GDMS ePDM configuration management database.
• Analyze datasheets, military specifications, and technical drawings to ensure strict configuration control.
• Create accurate part descriptions for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Perform lifecycle and availability analysis using tools such as Silicon Expert and IHS Haystack.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturers to manage End-of-Life (EOL) and obsolescence.
• Monitor GIDEPs to identify impacts on electronic parts and mechanical hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field (or Master's with 6 months of experience).
• 2+ years of experience in Component Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or Electronic Parts Management.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and Product Data Management (PDM) applications like Windchill.
• Experience reading and interpreting manufacturer datasheets and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills for coordination across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
