What you will do

• Lead failure investigations on production hardware by analyzing test telemetry, hardware performance data, and physical components.
• Conduct physics-based fault tree analyses and root cause investigations to resolve manufacturing and product failures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Perform hands-on inspection and evaluation of electromechanical assemblies to determine failure mechanisms.
• Drive systemic improvements and error-prevention initiatives to reduce recurring production issues.
• Document investigation findings and present recovery plans to internal leadership and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
• Proven experience in Failure Analysis and Root Cause Investigation.
• Technical understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Strong cross-functional communication and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
• 2+ years of professional experience in the engineering field.
• Background in Aerospace, Missile, Defense, or High-Reliability products.
• Experience in Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
