Salary: $119,200 - $158,900 annually

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end development of electrical subsystems from concept through production.
- Design and oversee high-speed PCB layouts in Altium Designer, focusing on SI/PI and EMI/EMC.
- Develop power electronics architectures for high voltage, power distribution, and battery systems.
- Design complex wire harnesses, including connector selection, wire gauge, and strain relief.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware issues in both released and development products.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to implement DFM/DFT and mitigate component obsolescence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience as a technical lead for 3–5 products.
- Expertise in power electronics, including high voltage design and battery systems (Lead Acid, Li-ion).
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design, and wiring harness documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Experience implementing designs under strict regulatory guidelines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of general radiography and fluoroscopy theory of operation.
- Familiarity with IEC 60601 2 54 and IEC 60601 2 43 safety standards.
- Background in motion control (stepper, servo, or BLDC motors).
- Practical soldering skills down to 0402 package size.
- Experience with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) applied to medical systems.
